Columbia Care recently obtained a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia that approves their business combination with Cresco Labs. This move will make Cresco Labs the new leader in cannabis, as they acquire Columbia Care. GrowGeneration Corp. also announced the opening of their 60th store in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
The US cannabis industry has seen a surge in growth recently, as several states have legalized recreational use of cannabis. During the elections, Maryland and Missouri joined the list of states that have legalized recreational use of cannabis, while North Dakota, South Dakota and Arkansas voted against election proposals on cannabis. This list only includes the main cannabis companies and excludes those that are not listed on the stock exchange. With the acquisition of Columbia Care, Cresco Labs is now the biggest cannabis company in the US.
